The Current Government
Rovdina's current government system consists of a socialist-state-system that is composed of a legislative and a judicial brand. Even though this system sounds pretty much like the ones that were used on Earth, it is still pretty different since democratic elections are held every 5 years so they can elect a new congress. The government also allowed the participation of other political groups in the election, even though they are the absolute minority after the installation of socialism. The Legislative branch elects the new leader by hosting elections within the congress. Obviously the Communist Party has stayed with the victory for the past 100 years. The leader simply possessed the title of ''The Premier'' or the ''President''. According to the constitution, the president had the right to re elect himself and serv up to a maximum of 10 years.
The Legislative Branch
The Rovdinian Congress is composed of 2000 deputies. In the last election, the Communist Party got 90% of the votes, winning 1800 seats in the congress. Meanwhile, the Galactic Front (Centre party) got 8%, winning 160 seats. The other 2% (40 seats) was won by an independent alliance.

Rodivna has had a long history of monarchs. Its first leaders helped form the societies under the belief of the Xerjes gods. Even though Rodivna has advanced technologically, socially and economically under the monarchic rules, the inhabitants started pondering about the implementation of a new system after studying the people from planet Earth. Their last monarch, Emperor Lexiam, obviously refused to give up the throne just because the people wanted a different system. Obviously, the majority of the people didn't take a ''No'' for an answer, so they revolt against Lexiem. The Revolution only took a couple of months before the planet's militia turned against the Emperor and arrested him. Lexim was then exiled to never return, meanwhile the people of Rodivan installed a congress and a supreme court. Then, the planet hosted elections where the Communist Party won with an absolute majority(98% of the votes).
